Elizabeth: So, that brings us to the next graves that I searched for. This is a different story.
I searched for Rob Edwards, Ernest Knox, and Oscar Daniel's grave.
Those are the 3 black men that were accused of that crime.
Alright, so here's what I did find. It's like a plot of land and the it says, "Unnamed Cemetery, .25 acres, bought for $10." It doesn't have the record of the moving of the cemetery. This was Oscarville, you're a black man, a convicted murderer. So they put you in an unmarked grave, somewhere, and not documented well. So when the U.S. government did buy that land that you're buried on, they don't know you're there and they don't know to move you.
Erica: So they're probably in the lake.
Elizabeth: They literally probably are at the bottom of that lake.
